I'm looking to buy a new toy so the Suzuki GSXR is for sale. The bike is stock except for Intutive no cut frame and swingarm sliders. I also
have a set of Goodridge steel braided lines for the front that have not been installed yet. Also with the sale goes a set of Donlop 207 GP's. The
bike is a 2001. it has 2500 miles and a factory warrenty. It has never been dropped and does not have one scratch on it. The Suzuki GSXR bike
still looks brand new. I need to get $8350 for it. If anyone is interested, just let me know. Thanks.
out of more than about 2 dozen Suzuki GSXR we dynoed (01's & 02's) we have seen a low of 133.something and a high of about 141. this is SAE
corrected HP. so far the 1k's have one of largest variation of stok HP i have seen in 9 yrs of dyno work. a whole bunch were lumped in the
136-139 area but one very important thing to understand is that the HP from dyno to dyno can vary due to the methods and consistency of
operation. a very good article in m/c consumer news(can't remember which issue) proved that in testing a zx-11 on 8 diff dyno's showed a 6
HP variation, all in the same area on the same day. since all were dynojet dynos the mag contacted dynojet and told them of their findings.the VP
of dynojet showed up the next week at the same dyno shops with the same skoot .he supervised the dyno runs and there was only a .6 diff in HP.
quite a big difference, and all due to methods of operation. just make sure u deal with the same dyno shop and have the same dyno operator run ur
skoot each time and make sure tire pressure, oil level, chain lube and adjustment and the general state of tune of ur skoot is checked b4 each
dyno session.
